RARE MINDSET FORUM
It was an absolute honor to work with Patient Authentic capturing all the special moments at The Rare Mindset Forum hosted by Amgen Biotech.
This inspiring event brought together leaders in rare patient advocacy to focus on supporting their own mental health and the mental well-being of their communities.
The day kicked off with a heartfelt keynote from Albert Freedman, followed by an empowering mental health workshop led by Dr. Trina Clayeux and Julie Wells of Give an Hour. We then explored innovative mental health programming from patient advocacy organizations, with case studies that included @mgholisticsociety retreats, @ourodyssey’s accessible game controller and meetups, @globalgenes' robust programming suite, The @guthyjacksonfdn’s art wellness workshops, @patientsrising's helpline, and the @childneurologyfoundation's impactful courses that have made a significant difference in participants' mental health.
The day wrapped up with speed networking, where many new partnerships and collaborations began to take shape. A truly impactful day!
